Elena Culver

Show Jumper for Rosenthal (Adult A/O)

Elena was born and raised in upstate New York. Like most New York children with negligent, self-absorbed parents, she was brought up by several nannies. Her father, a divorce attorney, spent most of his time in the city, while her mother, a blonde socialite and enviable trophy wife, spent her time at gatherings with women who looked and acted just the way she did. Elena's greatest influence, and the reason she stands apart from her parents, was her late nanny, Katelyn. Kate was a kind, generous, and modest woman with a passion for horses. It was through her that Elena became an equestrian, and embraced the life of competitive horsemanship.

Growing up with daily art, dance, and etiquette lessons, Elena studied the many trades of being a proper lady. The world around her required she be modest, quiet, and polite, but Katelyn encouraged Elena to be honest, open, and free. She dreamed of the day she would fly from the cage of oppressive expectations...to be free to be herself.

Artistic by nature, Elena graduated from the Savannah College of Art & Design. Accepted for an internship as a fashion designer under Brianna Bardot, Elena and her horse Matchbox moved to Twinbrook. A few months later, Ethan Parnell-Weiss waltzed into her life, fellow equestrian at Rosenthal and heir to a fortune. Today they reside together at the Parnell country estate, succumbed to a life their parents modeled for them.
